We have done a lot of work towards promoting our culture, uniting Cameroonians abroad, helping the disabled, providing educational and health support, and more.
What We've Achieved
From refugee camps in Cameroon to job fairs in New Jersey — CCASNJ's footprint spans continents and lives.
We have brought together sons and daughters of Cameroon and beyond for the common goal of humanitarian and charitable work. Through regular fellowship events and meetings, we have strengthened the bond of love and peace among our members and the wider community.
Providing food and basic needs to refugees and displaced persons who are victims of the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon. We are supporting refugee children to give them hope to rebuild their lives. CCASNJ has also given assistance to many other people in distress across the country.
CCASNJ gave financial support to victims of the Nguache landslide catastrophe that occurred in the West Region of Cameroon — a swift, direct emergency response that demonstrated our commitment to the people of Cameroon regardless of distance.
We have identified communities that have urgent needs for portable water and provided solutions to ensure access to clean drinking water — a basic human right that remains out of reach for many communities in Cameroon.
We regularly organize job and health fairs to guide the unemployed into employment, provide free medical checkups, and offer counseling. These events bridge the gap between community needs and available resources in Southern New Jersey.
We donate books, textbooks, didactic materials and other educational supplies to the less privileged who cannot afford them. Funds raised through events are also used to sponsor scholarships for high school and college students in the US and Cameroon.
